Did politicians fail to send them gobs of refugees from south of the border? Maybe some they sent to Alabama and Mississippi and Georgia could be sent up north. Let their schools deal with the language issues.
Yer kidding!...I didn’t know that. I’ve been to the Porcupine Mountains but have not been any further N and W in MI yet. I want to see Copper Harbor for like a month or two...Windigo, Iron Mountain, Manistee, Grand Island. Too many to list!
I’ve heard about those monks. I wonder how their brownies are, now that there’s medicinal and recreational marijuana all over the Great Lake State. The inside of that monastery could have the potential for being a kind of Petri dish for creativity!
Oh yeah, there’s also Drummond Island, east of the Bridge...and Sault St. Marie. I’ve been to the Soo before but in general, there is just no place like the UP of Michigan, especially in the summer.

Oh, I know. And I like it in the south, from my visits. It’s the northerners who swear the south is so racist against blacks.
