Porcupine mountains are awesome, took the family there a few times.

Copper Harbor is great, also go to Eagle Harbor in the summer. There is a monastery there with real monks dressed in traditional clothing. They have a bakery shop that shouldn't be missed.

I’ve heard about those monks. I wonder how their brownies are, now that there’s medicinal and recreational marijuana all over the Great Lake State. The inside of that monastery could have the potential for being a kind of Petri dish for creativity!

Oh yeah, there’s also Drummond Island, east of the Bridge...and Sault St. Marie. I’ve been to the Soo before but in general, there is just no place like the UP of Michigan, especially in the summer.
