Talk about a delayed reaction! The shooting happened on Valentine’s Day (Feb.14th). Better to reach the correct conclusion late than never.

What clout does the Broward County Director of Assistant Deputies have over someone like Broward County Sherriff Israel?

Figures. I assume Israel is also responsible for the death of that kid from Central America too. Why the hell not.
Maybe the Sheriff should change his name to Palestine. Then he could at least count on support from the liberal Jews in Broward.
A removal by the FL governor can be instituted, but a challenge can be made by the offender, before the state legislators, where a governor’s termination action could be approved or denied.
A reversal to former Governor Scott’s edict to fire one elected official was issued by the legislature, so there’s some risk involved.
There has been a consistent and passionate effort.....especially by parents of the deceased children ......to hold Sheriff Israel accountable since February 14

You should make an effort to educate yourself of the facts of this case, and can the sarcasm.
No need for the GOP governor to climb into the 'Rat nest for this battle. Better for the 'Rats to devour each other without intervention from the good guys.
