He’ll draw Democrat votes, the way John Anderson did in 1980, also a midwestern liberal Republican.
Personally, I doubt it. Democrats want to vote for rock stars and Kasich is the furthest thing from one. After that, Dems will vote as a block if they get their rock star nominated. I don’t think even Biden will drive any Dems to Kasich. Kasich’s goal (if he runs as an independent) is to trip Trump, not to win.
You know that John Anderson is still alive? He’s in his 90s.
