If there is one thing our president has spent a lifetime doing is managing debt. Creditors beware. He will not allow this government to go belly up to pay off Federal Reserve Note debt. I have no clue how this could be done, but POTUS will see to it come hell or high water. If I were China I’d be worrying. Count on it!
He will surely try but it won’t be easy with Nancy Pelosi in charge of House where all spending bills must originate.
Default isn't an option. The Constitution forbids default: "The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned."
The only way out of the federal debt mess is for the government to inflate its way out. Just start wildly printing money. No restrictions. You want to redeem a $100 saving bond? Give them a minute. OK, here’s five brand new $20 bills.
