Investigators believe the man suspected of killing Newman Police Cpl. Ronil “Ron” Singh is still in Stanislaus County, Sheriff Adam Christianson said in a news conference Thursday.
“We will find him, we will arrest him and we will bring him to justice,” said Christianson, who also said that the suspect is in the United States illegally.
Singh, 33, was shot and killed at 1 a.m. Wednesday after pulling over a suspected drunk driver at Merced Street and Eucalyptus Avenue.
He exchanged gunfire with the suspect but is not believed to have hit him.
While Christianson said investigators have identified the suspect, they will not release his name.
Newman Chief Randy Richardson spoke through tears about Singh and the impact his death has had on the small department of 12 sworn officers. This is the first line of duty death for the Newman Police Department.
“His five-month-old, he will never hear talk, he will never see walk; he will never get to hold that little boy; hug his wife ... because a coward took his life,” Richardson said.

Another comes in illegally from Mexico, avails himself of all the benefits here and kills the cop in cold blood in the wee hours of Christmas Day, leaving a wife and 5 month old son.
So, we know our lax U.S. immigration policy is to blame for this. What remains to be seen is if California's sanctuary city advocates are directly complicit in this as well. By that I mean Jerry Brown, Gavin Newsome, every Democratic rep and a good number of the Republicans. I'm betting they are.
I know our Sheriff is highly pissed and we can expect to hear more from him.

Sadly, it’s getting harder and harder to feel bad for anything bad that happens to anyone in California since they overwhelmingly support the monsters they either create, admit, or support. Even cops who dont support 2nd amendment rights like here in Texas. I had a cop get mad at me once because I wasn’t carrying even though I have a license to carry.

Perhaps it’s time for Law Enforcement Officers to question their Union on why they consistently support the political left who advocates in favor of illegal aliens. (ya know...those individuals whose first act in this country is to break its laws, and then go and kill cops.)

I was surprised to see Fox news report this story and to divulge the fact this officer was killed by an illegal immigrant. Not a peep from CNN, MSNBC, etc. They’re fixated on trying to slay Donald Trump for the second illegal immigrant child death. No tears for a US citizen killed by a criminal illegal.
Saw some female talking head expert on MSNBC say that one of the possible reasons for children of illegals being in critical condition upon arrival at our border is that they have to take longer routes to get through our borders (due to Border Patrol manning more illegal entry points). Hint - she left unspoken (but implied) that mean PDJT should be ashamed for making it more difficult for these “migrants” to access the land of milk and honey.
I told my wife that the perp is probably Mexican cartel connected imo .. shooting a LEO over a traffic stop is pretty sick .. makes me wonder if he was a runner as in drugs and bodies. Hope they check that pickup out thoroughly.

This evening CBS reported that the gun killed the police officer. Matter if fact they said the guns shot all the police officers this year. Obviously the individual criminals had nothing to do with it. They were just witnesses to the shootings.
I have a question: of all thethird police officers shot this year howto many were shot by undocumented aliens?
President Trump should do whatever it is that the federal government has the power to do to end table the family members to bring suit against the States. I am not sure if there’s some sort of umbrella protection which can be waived by the federal government?
I don’t know but one is too many.
