I hear that former President Halfrican has recommended an excellent Navy corpseman to monitor her vital signs, and spray Febreze on her when the stench gets too ripe.

Dems are likely looking for a qualified spirit medium for more remote voting in future. Maybe one of those they use in public elections now.

As long as the democrats can claim there is still a spark of life in the old leftist her staff can continue to vote the straight liberal line in her name.

The situation was not unlike that of Joseph Smith, who read from the magic stones, urim and thummim, in an inverted hat behind a screen. People outside the screened took dictation, writing the Book of Mormon and other material.

Edith would hear queries, go into the president’s room, close the door, decide as she pleased, then go back outside with the “president’s decision.”

She has recently been under anesthesia, and is likely on some type of pain medicine. She should not be rendering decisions while under the influence.

Maybe they are testing the waters to see if they can just put her mummy in the corner when she passes and vote on her behalf knowing she would side with Kagan and Sotomayor.

She might become the first SCOTUS hanging chad.

Not to be contentious, but I have read several times that the oral arguments are not that important, most of the decisions are made based on the briefs that are submitted.

I think her clerks do all the work and she merely votes, the way some elderly congressmen are “told” how they are being voted.

She certainly hasn’t the energy to participate in oral arguments.

Interesting, do you have a source for that?

I’d vote a big big thumbs up for her to keel over soon

I have searched everywhere to find the answer to a burning question: Can RBG vote from her hospital bed. How do we know it is her voting?? Congressmen have to be physically present to vote. I would think the same would hold true for the Supreme Justices. Or at least be present for the hearing. Does anyone of you have an answer??

It shows what a farce the Supreme Court has become. The Chief Justice should resign. He defended the courts against the President's correct assessment that venomous politics infects the courts. Now he (the chief justice) presides over this sham vote. Ugh!

It was an era of “no honorable woman can possibly lie”. But, whatever, she still couldn’t have done it without their acquiescence. Miserable crooks!

I’ve been doing searches trying to find some backup data on her time in France and have been unable to find it. Are her records being blocked by the same people that blocked a previous president?

One of our Oregon senators lives in New York, so there.

I truly believe McCain took the dirt nap in June or July. Those tweets “he” sent out were not conducive to a brain tumor patient. No way. It was all politics and jockeying for position.

She couldn’t have been any worse than Woodrow, so maybe there was a benefit.

Fortunately, I had finished my mid day coffee, or I could have ruined my Chromebook. Absolutely great! Thanks!
