My late mom-in-law loved to wrap gifts with the Sunday comics pages. I thought that was neat. Unfortunately the Sunday funnies in my neck of the woods are about one page these days, on smaller sheets of really icky paper.

I see Katie still hasn’t been able to “officially” find a real job.

We spent the morning watching every version we could find, except Lady Gagas, of Baby, its Cold Outside. Incredibly, until a year ago, we were, collectively, too misogynistic to recognize that a song in which a man removes a womans hat is pro-rape propaganda.
When the song is remade for todays market, the man will be slipping the woman a roofie. But, hell be damn sure to leave her hat alone.
Then, we found a funny spoof. This was to prep for a video of the deeply troubled youngs woman who thinks a popular Christmas song is dangerously misogynistic. She is silent about Eminem rapping Kim, a charming little ditty about killing the mother of his child and stuffing her in the trunk of his car.

"I use Mylar gift bags." I've switched to genuine panda skins. Expensive, but worth it.

My suggestion is that this always-dissatisfied lefty moonbat asshat be banned from saying anything for the rest of her apparently miserable, worthless life. Merry Christmas.

"They never miss an opportunity to DICTATE."
In all facets of life, it seems.
Example: while stuck behind a line of agonizingly slow-moving traffic on a road with few opportunities to pass, I often make the observation "we have another Democrat driver up front."
And I sincerely believe it, because of the leftist philosophy: "I'LL decide what's proper and best for everyone else. Their wishes or interests simply don't matter."

What do you mean, writer, that it is OFFICIALLY time to ban wrapping paper? What or who makes it “official”?

My late mom-in-law loved to wrap gifts with the Sunday comics pages.
That's been a tradition in my family - for birthday gifts - for at least three generations, probably four. Little kids get a big kick out of it.
My guess is it started during the Depression and is akin to the other family tradition of using brown paper bags as schoolbook covers. That stopped after two generation.
