A direct meeting between Erdogan and Trump will do a lot more for our Kurdish allies than 2,000 US troops based illegally in Syria
The Syrian endgame is in progress.
Syria will die of it’s own accord and be reborn into something different.
At issue is the Euphrates valley in what was once northern Syria and Iraq. A meeting between Presidents Trump and Erdogan will develop an outline of the issues to be resolved going forward.
Russia, China, Iran, Syria don’t matter. They will not be part of the solutions.
Trump knows it is called statesmanship. He is a statesman of the highest order.
