You have to be 21 to have a handgun. Was this player 21?

Authorities have not said whether the player was licensed to carry the firearm he used.

Bizarre that you need a state-issued license to protect yourself.

Alabama will give CCW permits to 18 year olds. Kids are free to ccw any family gun. Now they are older but at 18 they all legally carried.

There is no minimum age to possess rifles and shotguns in Louisiana but Louisiana law generally prohibits juveniles (defined as people under 17 years of age) from knowingly possessing a handgun,1 and prohibits any person from selling or otherwise delivering for value any firearm to a person under age 18.Oct 12, 2018

I’ve seen some bad headlines but that one may take the cake.

"We bought a couple of items at various times from Craig’s list …arranged for midday meeting in the parking lot of a busy fast food restaurant. Not gonna say who was carrying. But I tend not to take chances."

I bought some antiques once from a very nice and most attractive lady in Austin, Texas. I meet her at her home and she was alone. I suspect she was an Austin Liberal.

After buying them and loading them into my truck I turned to her and said, "You are a very nice and attractive lady. You had no idea whom was coming into your home and you were alone. Do not do this in the future! Always have someone with you that knows how to handle and use a firearm."

I do all my craigslist exchanges at my local credit union. I have also used my bank.

I do it in the lobby.

If it is a car exchange the credit union manager always helps with the paper work.

Many cameras, Much help.

I grew up on north side of Baton Rouge. That was in the 60’s. Even then Scotlandville was a no-go zone, especially if you were melanin deficient

You have to be 21 to have a handgun.

You have to be 21 to BUY a handgun. Possession is a different matter.

How stupid could that kid have been to try to rob two football sized men? Even if he didn’t know they are actual players, their size and # alone should have set up warnings not to mess with them, armed or not.

You can own a handgun at 18, you just can’t buy one until you’re 21.

I live in Illinoistan. Even police have to have a FOID, Firearms Owner Identification card, to possess their duty weapon. Believe it or not.
