The Supreme Court on Sunday issued a temporary halt to contempt charges brought against a mysterious foreign company. The company was having a fight over a mysterious grand jury subpoena related to the Mueller probe.
On Saturday, the foreign company filed a formal application with the Supreme Court asking them to review the case, the Washington Times reported. An Appellate Court previously ruled that the company must comply with the subpoena or they'd be held in contempt. For every week that they were held in contempt they would have to pay $5,000.
According to legal expert Steve Vladeck, this might be the first Supreme Court case that would be sealed:
“A mystery grand jury issues a mystery contempt order against a mystery foreign company for violating a mystery subpoena for not turning over mystery information.”
Ten years ago I would have said you were insane by the statement above. YOU ARE NOT INSANE!

Is the case is sealed, the defendant is a secret, the proceedings are secret and the whole thing is sealed up... then how are they able to give blow by blow reporting on the progress of it?
I don’t know.
On the one hand, it’s Mueller. And if the Supreme Court is reigning in Mueller, that’s a good thing.
On the other hand, did they just side with a foreign company like they sided with illegal aliens?
And the ideological split is the opposite of what I would have expected.
It’s all speculation without any facts.
I am starting to view sealed court documents as a strong net negative.
