One Central Austin couple's Christmas decorations are stirring up some controversy. In their front yard sits a nativity scene showing baby Jesus in a cage in with "ICE" written on it, Mary and Joseph separated outside of the cage and a quote from the Statue of Liberty written on a scroll. It's all in protest of children being detained at the border and separated from their families... "If anyone is offended by our display, please know that we want to start this dialogue and have people thinking about why children are in cages," Naranjo said. This isn't the first time the couple has displayed something like this. Last year, they put up a display showing President Donald Trump as the Grinch.

Just keepin' Austin weird.
I never knew Christ was a wetback.
Jesus and his parents were citizens.
That is soooooo clever. NOT!
They have forgotten what Christmas is really all about.
It’s not for political grandstanding, or trying to make people feel bad. FAIL!
That quote, by the way, is from a so called ‘Poet’.
The quote is not National Immigration Policy, nor was it ever written into any law. So get over it. This is bigger than feelings.
That’s so DEEP
SMFH
Fake Christians from Liberal Austin ... bet same people would call ACLU for a real Nativity Scene.
I was also wondering if Joseph dropped Mary off at the nearest Baptist Hospital for free medical care while he went to demand money from the local public assistance office and then decided to buy a bottle of wine and steal a donkey which he recklessly hit an killed an innocent pedestrian and then went and raped a local teenager. No? I did not think so. If they are going to associate the scum on our border they should compare them to Muhammed, a near perfect match.
IRONY & Non Sequitur:
Mr. & Mrs. Naranjo are protesting Trumps policies.
The word ‘Naranja’ in Spanish means ‘Orange’.
So how many illegal immigrants are these liberal clowns going to let live in their home?
Wow, those people must be the first ever to use a fictional misrepresentation of the Lord Jesus Christ to make a tortured political point.
Their Progressive handler must be so proud of them.
What? Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the Grinch are not wearing a Che’Guevara T-Shirt. This crap is fake.
When did Christ cross our border illegally. Or are they not referring to “Jesus”, but Jesus(Heysoose?)
Surprised this is allowed to fly around Austin. Most HOAs forbid anything that is religious or political with outdoor decorations. Seems this scene is a double law breaker.
Virtue signaling leftists....
Good thing these sensitive and tolerant people don’t want to offend anyone.
This is all psychological warfare, designed to get any American who still believes in his country to roll over and let it be overrun by foreigners. Mexico doesn’t allow illegals in their country. Only Western (aka white) countries are being brainwashed into doing this.
I hate Austin. It’s a cancer on the great state of Texas.
