That was very well considered and well written with future possibilities for any nation in mind.

Any nation except the U.S.

We own more guns per capita, by far, than any other populace on the planet.

Gun ownership is woven into the fabric of our national identity and history.

Our right as citizens to possess arms is clearly stated in our nation's founding charter.

The idea that our guns are the foundational guarantor of our liberty, is hard wired into our national consciousness.

We are a peaceful people, but are distrustful of government, and easily roused to anger when our government threatens our God-given rights.

For all these reasons, you will never see wholesale gun confiscation in America.
