FNC’s Sebastian Gorka To Launch Salem Network Show In 2019.

Salem Radio Network is launching a new talk show hosted by Fox News channel’s national security strategist Dr. Sebastian Gorka. “America First with Sebastian Gorka” will debut on New Year’s Day from 3-6pm (ET), replacing “The Michael Medved Show.” Medved, who has been with the network more than two decades, says he will make his program available on a new platform.

“I couldn’t be more pleased to have talent like Sebastian Gorka joining the Salem lineup,” CEO Ed Atsinger said. “He’s a perfect fit. Brilliant, insightful, educated and uniquely experienced. A great addition to the best faculty in talk radio.”

As part of his role as national security strategist on FNC, Gorka has been a regular guest on Sean Hannity’s 9pm FNC show and appears on the Fox Business Network. He also writes for “The Hill” and is the author of “Why We Fight: Defeating America’s Enemies-With No Apologies” and “Defeating Jihad: The Winnable War.” Gorka was an advisor to Donald Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign and served on the staff of the White House in 2017 as Deputy Assistant to the President for Strategy.

“Radio has always been my first love, since I listened to talk radio late at night on a transistor radio as a child,” Gorka said. “America is finally recovering its rightful place as the shining city on a hill after eight years of liberal self-loathing. Salem’s broadcasts are essential to that recovery and I am honored to join Salem’s team, the greatest lineup in talk radio with true patriots like Prager, Gallagher, Hewitt, Elder, and Metaxas.”

Medved is an historical genius. His departure speaks of his poor ratings and his utter disdain for Trump. I quit listening a long time ago. He never knew when to stop bashing the wrong issues. He recovered from cancer, and I wish him well. Good bye Michael and to your beautiful wife with perfect teeth and smile.

Medved was one of the writers for some history encyclopedia...He also wrote a book about what happened to his high school classmates...

I found myself listening to Medved less frequently since Trump became President...However, I rarely missed his movie review segment during his last hour on Fridays...
