Salem Radio Network is launching a new talk show hosted by Fox News channel’s national security strategist Dr. Sebastian Gorka. “America First with Sebastian Gorka” will debut on New Year’s Day from 3-6pm (ET), replacing “The Michael Medved Show.” Medved, who has been with the network more than two decades, says he will make his program available on a new platform.
“I couldn’t be more pleased to have talent like Sebastian Gorka joining the Salem lineup,” CEO Ed Atsinger said. “He’s a perfect fit. Brilliant, insightful, educated and uniquely experienced. A great addition to the best faculty in talk radio.”
As part of his role as national security strategist on FNC, Gorka has been a regular guest on Sean Hannity’s 9pm FNC show and appears on the Fox Business Network. He also writes for “The Hill” and is the author of “Why We Fight: Defeating America’s Enemies-With No Apologies” and “Defeating Jihad: The Winnable War.” Gorka was an advisor to Donald Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign and served on the staff of the White House in 2017 as Deputy Assistant to the President for Strategy.
“Radio has always been my first love, since I listened to talk radio late at night on a transistor radio as a child,” Gorka said. “America is finally recovering its rightful place as the shining city on a hill after eight years of liberal self-loathing. Salem’s broadcasts are essential to that recovery and I am honored to join Salem’s team, the greatest lineup in talk radio with true patriots like Prager, Gallagher, Hewitt, Elder, and Metaxas.”

Medved has been on radio for a long time...I first heard him filling in for Rush. It was when Pricess Diana died...Medved was critical of media coverage back then...I did not always agree with him on issues. But, I listened to his show frequently. I listened to his movie reviews...I still remember his negative review of MILLION DOLLAR BABY(2004). That movie still won the Best Picture Award. I also listened to Medved the day after Academy Awards show...I liked to listen to him talk about Oscar winners...
I also listened to his history special shows...Like the special on WORLD WAR 2...
I like to wish Mr. Medved a good luck going forward...I don't know if he will ever have a nationwide radio show again...Michael Reagan used to have a nationwide radio show...That was many years ago...I often listened to Mike too...
I don't think Dr. Gorka will do movie reviews...Oh, well...

#8. Gorka is a student of the concepts of “total war” and Soviet/Russian and Red Chinese geo-strategic theories and tactics. He makes a lot of sense.
That put’s him far ahead of most liberal/leftist so-called foreign policy analysts, which is why they fear and loath him. He knows how to play “the game” and “their game”.
If I remember correctly, he lived under communism, which, if true, means that he knows how to spot Soviet/Russian/communist propaganda and tactics, and has chosen to openly expose it and its promoters/followers here in the US unlike Tarlov (FOX)and Dvorak/Svrulga (two women leftists from communist countries who write for the Wash. Post just like the communist journalists from those countries they fled/left. Never learned a thing.
Gorka could become a member of the distinguished scholars of communism such as Barnett, Huntington, Dobriansky, Romerstein, Haynes & Klehr, Trager, Hunter, (now Kengor), Chambers, Michael, Pike, James Burnham, etc.
He’s a neocon warmonger. I think we’ve had enough of them.
Is it just me, or does anyone not feel that Gorka’s accent and intonation reminds you of the great horror movie actor, VINCENT PRICE?
Medved is 70 or so. It’s not odd at all that someone that age reduces his schedule.
