Great comment. Thanks.
I can agree with that.
The movie, the story is a tale of a group of friends that have an adventure along a set of railroad tracks
All tales of boyhood adventure are “romanticized”.
Certainly. And the story is told by one of them, grown up to be a writer. The danger they experienced in the journey may even be a bit exaggerated...but that’s what makes the story. There’s also a gun in the story...used defensively by the boys. This being Stephen King, it’s amazing it didn’t go Cujo on everyone.
Given that this is King, a whacked out Leftist, I would the think that the gun would go Christine on everybody.
😉
Thank you.
“Scares the heck out of the office staff.”
And should. In a healthy society, people like that are hospitalized for the safety of all.
I might be tempted to give employees a half day of training on dealing with people like that, if it was a consistent problem.
Leases wouldn’t normally be renewed once a government wrecks a neighborhood like that; it really is the kiss of death.
Someone (Tucker Carlson or Ann Coulter) was complaining about how our elites turn our neighborhoods into sh!tholes while preserving their own like 1950s America. I believe it related to immigration, but it is just as damaging if you import our welfare underclass into a neighborhood. Who commits to a 30 year mortgage if this is even a possibility? In year 2 you may wish the house burned down, and insurance companies know it: You no longer get a check, but instead a re-built home on the same plot of land.
