New year, new governor, new legislature. Among Illinois Democrats, there’s a thrill of excitement only Chris Matthews’ leg during a Barack Obama speech could appreciate. In January, Democrats will increase their control of Illinois, Cook County and suburban governments. In the Illinois House, Democrats will hold 74 seats to Republicans’ 44. In the Senate, Democrats will hold 40 seats to the GOP’s 19. For the most part, voters swept out the suburban Republicans who have often served as the General Assembly’s only fiscal disciplinarians.
So please, suburbanites. Stifle your complaints about high taxes. This is the government you chose.

Illinois already lost over 100,000 people since 2010.
Coming to Oregon. Not only did we give the dims a governor and super legislature but also some pro tax referendums.

Most of the people leaving soon, such as myself, are leaving because we are conservative.
The move out of Illinois by Middle class white collar families will be a tidal wave. But the Crime Families that run Illinois don’t care because there will be less Republican voters. The future numbers for state government favor even a greater majority of Dems... Jelly Belly Pritzker will lead Illinois into debt deeper than anyone ever imagined.
One of my friends works for a home building company in the DFW area and she makes no bones about asking people why they are moving to Texas and nearly all of them say they are looking forward to getting away from the libs in the state they are leaving behind.
Sure as he!! wasn’t the government I chose but, unfortunately, us conservative rural farming counties can’t offset Chicago, Champaign, Peoria and the Quad Cities.
Or is it the government the democrats have fraudulently seized?
My kids are in college. As soon as they’re out, so are we. Indiana next door looks attractive, possibly Kentucky or Tennessee.
IL elections are about as valid as California’s.
If I could I’d be posting this on the state page urging everyone to print up the article and get it out into their precincts
I’ve already begun crafting my escape plan. It’s looking like Crown Point, Ind., right now.
This is the government that the vote counters and vote manipulators chose.
Illinois, the next California. Many other states will go the same way as residents of the afflicted states flee to other states and bring their socialist voting habits with them. The Republic is disintegrating irretrievably.
