My Great Great Grandfather was a Son of the Republic of Texas and a volunteer member of the Texas Navy.
I’m not going anywhere...

I’ve been to the abandoned US Air Base used in WWII for the Tokyo raid.

My paternal grandfather was born in Spain. My brother was vacationing there and went to the city of his birthplace (Santander) to do some research on our family tree. He chatted with a local clerk and discovered that we are eligible, as grandsons, to emigrate back there, purchase land in Spain, and become citizens.
Eh, we're not interested in leaving America.

I havent been able to pin point a single place. I havent either.
But my guess is it would be a former Soviet satellite state.
Of course, there would be a language barrier problem
And I am getting a pretty old to begin learning a new non-romantic language.

I had forgotten that part of our history.
We shouldn’t forget why that was necessary.

Maybe New Zealand....no snakes and relatively decent gun laws.

Central America seems to be missing people. Lots of nice places there.

There are barrios in the LA area that are hardly different than barrios in Mexico or other Latin American countries.

Living in another country is not as easy as those who waltz into America. Most who have zero sought after marketable skills, financial resources and think immigration is a piece of cake will be in shock. In certain respects, whites are second tier to the Muslims in Europe and being a Gringo going south is not a walk in the park.

Limited number of countries youd want to go to.
Depends on your priorities.

Lot of gut reaction attacking here. I have been contemplating moving to another country for about 2 years. Will probably do so. Some facts for the ill informed.
Moving to another country does not have to have anything to do with patriotism. However, it can have a lot to do with cost of living.
When moving to another country, you do NOT have to give up your US citizenship, especially if you are not seeking citizenship in the new country.
You usually have to show you have a long term stable income above a certain level to move into another country, because you will not qualify for any government assistance.
Most countries do not allow you to get a job in the new country, however, if you have a current job that you can do remotely, that is perfectly fine. Both I and Mrs Rainman already have agreements from our employers to work from wherever we want.
Once you move to a country, and have a utility bill in your name, you can often get the same pricing as locals at the stores, instead of "gringo" pricing. As an example, in Mexico this represents a significant cost reduction
usually around 1/4 to 1/3 the gringo price.
Your insurance probably will not work in another country, but I have found Dr's charge less than you would pay for just the co-pay in the US, as the full charge for the procedure.
A lot of popular destinations have entire communities for ex-pats. They are usually gated, have 24/7 security, and cost about the same as an equivalent home in Seattle or San Fran. If you want to live on the cheap however, don't aim for beachfront
go inland a mile, and be willing to do away with some modern conveniences, and you can often find a place for 1/10th the price
or even less.
If you chose a place like Belize, you don't have to learn another language
English is the official language
the they use US Currency.

Wyoming is a close, conservative oasis.
