The President has two options:
1. Arrest the sheriff and charge him with interference with Federal Law Enforcement agencies.
2. Declare Los Angeles County to be in active rebellion against the Federal Government then send in the military to arrest all elected officials of the county. Any Democrats in Washington DC who support LA could be arrested for treason.

If he violates a serious enough federal law, they could stick him in a federal hoosegow.

Trump should order the U.S. Attorney in Los Angeles to stop enforcing federal laws.
Since almost half the federal crimes in Los Angeles are committed by non-citizens, perhaps that will catch the attention of the Sheriff's Department.

Two guesses why.... the guy states...."Enforcing the law is a tool, and NOT the goal in of itself"... I will verify that our personnel are not participating in task forces that focuses on immigration enforcement.

This sheriff was voted for to protect the illegals....while they get their education for free, become attorneys and advocates, officials, and law enforcement officers so they can channel the rest of their nations people to the USA.
Tell us again how the illegals just come here to work in our agricultural fields.

Wonder where they are getting all that money.
Here's a wild guess: They take it out of the larger amount that California pays in federal taxes.
"Wonder where they are getting all that money." Sometimes the mind just boggles at what gets posted here.

Its On.
There isnt enough Federal Law Enforcement to deal with this level of criminality.
The US either cedes California to Mexico or sends Federal troops in to clear it out and re-establish it as a functioning state of the republic.

Grandstanding by a filthy bunch of swamp creatures. There's no way that this policy would survive in the Federal courts. This is a case that the 9th Circus would surely support but that SCOTUS would just as surely overturn,as it does so often with 9th Circus cases.
But this is how swamp creatures get votes...and raise funds...in cesspools like Kalifornia.

I've always heard that the Sheriff is the single most powerful law enforcement officer in the county.. It's because he's an "elected official." (?)
