I agree. And he’s not going to lose another drop of American blood if he can help it.
I’d say ~90% of those who oppose this pull out are Deep State in one way or another.

Nothing wrong with going in after Al Queda and punishing the Taliban, but not forever. Syria and Afghan are places you’d like to control and it’s hard to let go but once you do natural forces will make it the Russians or somebody else’s next quagmire.

You always knew the night because the little boys had bells on their feet to identify them. It was Evil incarnate. They were raped by the goat$%###$ without anything we could say or do, otherwise the elders would pull support and ghost.
We should have gutted everyone of them, none of them are worth saving, the society is devoid of cultural values... I’d rather spare everyone the pain and focus on giving them the opportunity to meet their maker.

Sarah, I just wrote privately to 2DV, that in my opinion we haven’t been in a worthy and just war that was in our country’s interest since WWII! This nation’s wars since the end of WWII, have accomplished zip, nada zilch, except in that they have been the huge multiplier on our national debt, to say nothing of the multiple human tragedies in the unnecessary deaths of our young men and women! Next time we go to war, the youngsters of our elected officials need to be the first one’s off the landing craft. Maybe that would bring some sorely needed sanity!
After W took Iraq, we had a huge force there and should have used it to reduce Assad and the Iranians. Instead we put our tanks in garages and hunkered down under Islamic and Democrat attacks. We no longer have the forces there to topple the enemy regimes on the ground. How can we win in Syria when Assad and the Russians run the country and we’re just fighting insurgents? If ISIS comes back, go back in.

We can pretty well predict that Lindsey Graham is already having a conniption about this. He just about soiled his panties when he heard that Trump was pulling our troops out of Syria.

Fine! Then let them do it with their own blood and treasure, not ours! In the final analysis, this part of the world is never going to be anything more than a Muslim $hit hole, so why we need to participate is a mystery to me. Give them arms, but not one of our boots on their soil ever again!
