Triple-amputee Air Force veteran Brian Kolfage of Florida has decided that if the government isnt going to do their job to keep America safe by securing the border, then he will.
But not alone, of course.
Kolfage has started a GoFundMe page to raise money for the U.S.-Mexico border wall that President Trump promised to build during his presidential campaign, but unfortunately, has hit a snag with getting it funded.
Whats truly insane about all of this is how much money Kolfage has managed to raise in just three days. You ready for this? Hes raised $400,000. Yowza.
Kolfage created the campaign on Sunday, which is titled We the People Will Fund the Wall.
The crowdfunding goal is $1 billion to help fund President Donald Trumps U.S.-Mexico border wall one of the presidents original campaign tent poles and a point of contention on both sides of the aisle.
Kolfage page states that [i]ts up to Americans to help out and pitch in to get this project rolling.
If the 63 million people who voted for Trump each pledge $80, we can build the wall, Kolfage continues. That equates to roughly $5 billion, even if we get half, thats half the wall. We can do this.
Kolfage adds that as a triple-amputee veteran with a family of his own, he feels its important to ensure future generations have everything [U.S. citizens] have today.
As a veteran who has given so much, 3 limbs, I feel deeply invested to this nation to ensure future generations have everything we have today, he writes. Too many Americans have been murdered by illegal aliens and too many illegals are taking advantage of the United States taxpayers with no means of ever contributing to our society.
Kolfage says that Democrats will stall the U.S-Mexico border wall by every means possible and will play political games to ensure President Trump doesnt get his victory.
Theyd rather see President Trump fail than see America succeed, he adds, calling the wall our duty as citizens, and compares it to the WWII generation raising war bonds.
[If] we can fund a large portion of this wall, it will jumpstart things and will be less money Trump has to secure from our politicians.
The crowdfunding page has now been shared on Facebook over 100,000 times as of the writing of the original source quoted above, and has been receiving donations by the minute. In fact, one donation alone was $5,000.
Now, what the left will want you to believe about this project is that, at its core, its racist. Folks want to keep out Mexicans because they hate the brown man, but thats simply not true at all.
Hi.
How does the gofundme dollars get to contractors building the Wall.
Many considerations.

Just do it .
It’s time for the lawyer to STFU
Yes, we don’t want another ‘Iran -Contra’ scandal...............
Interesting take.
Given the current environment.

This vet started it and should lead it. How dare you describe him as unable to handle it. His strength is obvious and I’m sure he can get guidance if ever needed from Gary Sinise.
Excellent idea!
You should have given your $80 to me to make you some ammo. At least it would have gone to something substantive. As it is, your $80 will do NOTHING for security of the US border. You do realize a private entity can’t build on US government land without a contract?

The liberal courts will never let the people do this.
“Many considerations.”
True, but I’ve pi$$ed away thousands over the years. I figure 50 bucks for even a chance to help this worthy project is worth the risk.
Perhaps our justice department needs to do a better job criminally prosecuting those that would enable the criminal Invaders to remain in the country and commit violent crimes and murder. Help build the case against Sanctuary cities and local governments that allowed this.
I would assume with these fund raising sites that they write a cheque to the vet. He, in turn, can donate the money to the feds to be deposited to the account they are currently using. It’s a large amount of money, but it doesn’t seem a difficult job. It’s not like he has to become the contractor.
There is a lot of land that is privately owned.
Even if it doesn’t go directly to wall building, every little bit of support helps. The funds may eventually be transferred to conservative candidates who could primary the leftover RINOs in 2020.
I dont hate the brown man.
Just the sub-moronic Dem-voting, EBT/welfare/obamacare leeches from 3rd world Latino nations that break our laws
to get their greedie hands on USA bennies.
Yeah thats who i hate.
As some one who built over 200 million on State and Federal Property, there are lots of ways this can happen. As the guy posts on his website, half the restoration cost of the Washington Monument was paid by a private citizen and that was certainly tied up with legislative issues.
Does it though? I am pretty sure the seized funds are directed into the law enforcement agencies that seized them and I’m betting that the language of the statute is vague enough to define the wall as law enforcement activity.
It might be perfectly constitutional.
I encourage other FReepers to do the same.
Very well said. It sounds like grassroots growing to me. Organic. Populism par excellence. Right up my alley.
Theres a page for the Go Fund Me” Wall on Facebook.
Funny comment there:

I donated $80 in my name then donated another $20 in Chuck Schumers name LOL
