Incoming GOP Senate Whip Thune: ‘Not a Big Fan’ of Reallocating Money to Wall
Breitbart ^ | December 18, 2018 | Ian Hanchett

Posted on 12/19/2018 9:02:05 AM PST by conservative98

Anchor Neil Cavuto asked, “Are you of the mindset that reallocating funds from another department, let’s say Defense, is a wise strategy, or would that be rejected out of hand?”

Thune responded, “I’m not a big fan of moving money. I think Defense ought to — we ought to be building airplanes and ships and all the things that we need to do to defend the country. But there are always dollars in budgets that you can move around, and in the Homeland Security budget, for example. And that’s the way that the appropriators came up with a mechanism that would allow another roughly billion dollars to be used for border security, but limited to border security measures other than a fence, other than a border wall, which is what the Democrats have been advocating for.”

The political class doesn’t want a wall. They tell us walls don’t work. Well, except for around their homes and in other countries.

They want cheap labor and Democrat voters, and to hell with us.

A picture is worth a thousand words.
It would be nice if someone could wipe that shite-eating UniParty grin off his ugly mug.

Thune responded, “I’m not a big fan of moving money. .............unless it is giving 10 billion dollars to Mexico. Then it is a good deal.

Yep, Thune's happy to give away our money - AND he wants taxpayer dollars for ships to defend South Korea... and planes to defend the EU and blood and treasure to protect Arabs in the ME... But Thune can't come up with a dime to protect the borders of the United States?

It's time to cut all military and foreign aid money UNTIL THESE JERKS CAN FIND MONEY TO DEFEND THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES.

Trump isn’t shutting down a thing. He won’t do it. Doesn’t have the political capital or spine.

I just said he SHOULDN'T shut down anything, just say he wants drastic cuts to foreign Aid, or he won't sign. Americans will agree with him on that.

He should have run for Governor and appointed Kristi Noem to replace himself in the Senate. They have it all backwards.

The wall would take the place of an awful lot of military manpower and resources needed to stem the otherwise unbridled flow of illegals across out southern border.

Stop them there, or prepare for internal war zones.

Gonna pay anyway, just either more money and lives later on, or spend it now to block future problems.

$5 Billion is 1/8 of 1% of Federal Spending for last year. These people are pathetic. Unfortunately the math challenged people probably don’t get it.

Seriously.... I thought this so called Thune had a deadly disease a few years back and was on the verge of ....... leaving this mortal plane. Maybe I have this nobody confused with another useless GOPer.

I believe that was Tim Johnson, who is now no longer with us.

But why all the hate? If you barely knew who the guy was maybe you shouldn't be hating so much on him (and the other guy you didn't know either).

President Trump is Not The Issue – It’s Those Who Oppose Him…

Posted on  by

Much misplaced anger is visible.  President Trump wants the southern border wall; he is being opposed by every interest who doesn’t want it.

[...]

President Trump said he wouldn’t sign another CR that didn’t fund the border wall.  Right now Mitch and Chuck are writing a CR that doesn’t fully fund the border wall.  Why would Mitch McConnell do that? Because he want’s to that’s why.  UniParty !

Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and Paul Ryan are working to put a take it or leave it bill in front of the President and force him to accept it.  Republicans currently control the House and Senate.  Why would McConnell and Ryan put President Trump into that position?  Because they want to, that’s why.

[...]

It’s a big club, and we, along with President Trump, ain’t in it.  Getting you mad at President Trump is in the DC interests.  The UniParty knows how to play you.

President Trump represents a second party in Washington DC.  The people who write the laws (lobbyists), and the people who sell the laws (politicians), cannot allow that.  They need to get back to UniParty political business.  They need to get rid of Trump.

Think about it as you direct your fire.

Your enemy is not President Trump.

Carry on….

[...]

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We did it to Eric Cantor and it felt great.
Nobody followed our lead.
The Uniparty got their revenge and ousted Dave Brat this cycle.
Unless we stop voting for Bush League Republicans like Thune, Graham, Rubio, Hoeven, etc., etc. etc., we will lose our country.
Instead of that, here’s what’s going to happen.
We are going to continue to pay Mexico and everyone south of Mexico to invade us.
Maybe you all in the gallery can show some of that spine we all pretend to have and go confront the people you sent to Congress?
Yeah, that involves effort, I know.
Dont accuse people of being afraid while you sit in a comfy chair at home thinking you are the tough guy in the room.
