Trump backing off of wall funding and about to pay Mexico 4.5 billion in aid? And focusing instead on fighting for criminal justice reform a la his son-in-law’s wishes?
My macro thought is the whole daring Trump thing just didn’t work. Very disappointed. We have yokes on and not even our old sheepskin under glass the Founders wrote can save us.

We wanted a revolution the cheap, easy and quiet way...by electing a president. You don’t do revolutions that way. They won’t work. You elect a person that has nothing but long knives out for him from the permanent government class and employees in the capitol and no support from anyone anywhere. He has no party, he has no backing, he has no talent pool to go to...he just had votes.
That’s sending a sheep to the slaughter, not having a revolution. And Trump is NOT a revolutionary anyway. He’s a builder, a manager, super-efficient, super hard working, a deal maker...all things that don’t amount to a hill of beans in Washington D.C.
What did we expect?
If you want a revolution, you have to do it the old fashioned, long, hard, messy and chaotic way. There’s no other way.
