Also - from memory - Lt. General Flynn got his third star from Barack Obama, and Obama appointed Flynn to be Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
Why would Flynn plead guilty to a felony he did not commit to save Trump?
I don’t think Flynn did it so save Trump. I though the OP’s position was far-fetched.

Obama fired General Flynn because he refused to let Obama corrupt and politicize the DIA. Flynn also did superior analysis of the middle east and the terror threat and predicted that Obama policies would fail and lead to a rise in terrorism.
