Its arguable about the safe direction rule. There are at least a few other safe practices not being demonstrated and that is a failing on the “instructors” part. 1) Body parts in front of the muzzle, even if not in direct line with the barrel. 2) That’s not a very positive way of holding/maintaining control of the gun.
I was wondering where she got her “instructor” rating. NRA is the largest, but certainly not the only national organization providing credentials. The slide in the background is not any official NRA material, though that is rule 1 and 4 of NRA safety rules being shown.
I guess that is what passes for a NSSF instructor?
