As that rarest of species in Manhattan a single female and therapist who supports the policies of Donald Trump I am routinely informed by my dates and peers that, in addition to my common, domestic lifestyle, I am "destroying the world."
Finding someone whom I can share my life with is a priority, and I am on a mainstream dating site. After a favorable email exchange with a divorced guy, things moved to a phone conversation. He asked what I do. I said I am a therapist. We talked about our mutual interest in running, and I said that if I got accepted to run N.Y. again, I would train on the treadmill while listening to Trump's speeches. I said that would be Nirvana. He then said the president is guilty of genocide for what he is "doing" to the caravan people. I said I see it differently but that I am sympathetic and heartbroken still over Elián González and that having to face Janet Reno in the middle of the night was pretty cruel. He then said we are not a match, that people like me are destroying the world but wished me luck and then said, "Lord help us" before hanging up on me.

Ping!
Maybe I just happen to work for a nice company where everybody is nice and civil to each other and we respect each other's political views.
So you’re the one huh? LOL!
How was she ever attracted to such a girly-man in the first place?
She looks normal. I hope and pray she won't settle for marrying from the anti-Trump contingent of totalitarian thugs, low-information welfare voters, and Antifa terrorists.
dayum! I would be happy to comfort that poor girl!
I saw her website, but it depends on her age.
I can relate to your comment entirely. What is always amazing to me is when I have that occasional discussion with someone outside my normal circle who has a serious case of TDS. This happened to me recently with a fellow who was raging about POTUS Trump and seemed to be totally mystified how he ever got into power. I said surely you know someone who voted for him... after all, he got enough votes to be the President. The fellow responded that he didn't know barely anyone who voted for Trump. I suggested that he needed to perhaps think about enlarging the circle of folks he talks to a tad to include some perhaps have a slightly different view. I think that stats bear out the notion that conservatives are far more accommodating of views that conflict with their own than liberals... and it's not even close.
To do what???
It might be all they were.
Move to another state..
I live in Massachusetts. I still don’t know how hard working, tax-paying adults vote Democrat. I can see why if you are receiving government benefits. I just don’t get why, say working as engineer in the private sector putting in 50 to 60 hour weeks with 1/2 your salary taxed.
Why?????? What is the benefit?
Happily married & not in the dating game, but I just wish to congratulate this lady on her wise political outlook;especially in such a crappy political district. Living out in flyover country, I don’t have to put up with so much of the stupid liberal viewpoint as some do, but they are out there. Just not as many.
That is an idea.
Move to Idaho.
Patriots might consider the following interesting thread about the caravan people.
Why did the caravan pick San Diego?
“The fellow responded that he didn’t know barely anyone who voted for Trump. “
That is nearly impossible with today’s social media. I for one didn’t realize how many old friends were now total liberal moonbats until facebook arrived. From my observation the biggest opinionated liberal moonbats on facebook were all hetero-sexual men. Followed by a distant second on the moonbat scale are liberal single never married women. The gay and lesbians I knew on facebook were barely politically opinionated. I have one or two conservative facebook friends that are opinionated. About 2 weeks after the election I purged all the total nutcases. They were all childhood friends that I haven’t met in person in decades.
