President Trump on Sunday said that there are missing text messages between former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page that "have been erased and wiped clean," something he called an "outrage."
"So where are all the missing Text messages between fired FBI agents Peter S and the lovely Lisa Page, his lover," Trump wrote on Twitter. "Just reported that they have been erased and wiped clean. What an outrage as the totally compromised and conflicted Witch Hunt moves ever so slowly forward. Want them!"
Trump made the same claim in a tweet on Saturday, calling the situation a "a big story that will never be covered by the Fake News."
"Wow, 19,000 Texts between Lisa Page and her lover, Peter S of the FBI, in charge of the Russia Hoax, were just reported as being wiped clean and gone. Such a big story that will never be covered by the Fake News," he wrote. "Witch Hunt!"
Trump was referring to text messages between Strzok and Page that were not initially collected by the FBI due to a software glitch. Many of the messages were later recovered.
The Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office of Inspector General said last week that there are no “discernible patterns” in those messages. The messages contained "some political content, some work-related content, and some personal content," according to the inspector general report.
Trump and Republicans in Congress have said text messages between Page and Strzok, who were romantically involved when they sent the messages, are evidence of political bias in the DOJ because some messages were critical of Trump.
Trump has also said the messages show bias by special counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Page and Strzok worked on his team.

Determine the people that did it, stick them in jail, then announce that a "glitch" has wiped out a computer or two and the ones in jail can not be located.
Watch how fast they "find" a full set of copies...

TELL THE DOJ, NSA, AND FBI THAT IF THEY DON'T FIND THOSE TEXTS AND TURN THEM OVER TO THE WHITE HOUSE IMMEDIATELY, THE DOJ, NSA AND FBI WILL BE SHUT DOWN UNTIL THESE TEXTS ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. ALSO, THE FISA DOCUMENTS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY RELEASED UNREDACTED!!!!!

That’s not the sort of question Trump would ask without knowing that his team has them—and that they are incriminating.
THE DOJ, FBI, CIA, NSA, ETC., HAVE ALL GONE ROGUE. No accountability to Congress or the President whatsoever.
What is everyone so afraid of? Even the President of the United States has LITTLE authority over these agencies. ARE EXTRATERRESTRIALS RUNNING THESE AGENCIES???

The Hill is trying to make Donald sound delusional and crazy, when this was the big news the past few days. Mueller’s people supposedly purposely erased the text messages after “finding” that they were not important. Trump is correct in calling them out on it. Grounds for him to fire Mueller and disband the Special Counsel role in all of this. Whitaker and Barr does not have to recuse themselves and can do away with SC.
Then start firing people, beginning at close of business tomorrow, eastern, and every close business day thereafter, until delivered!
Start at the top, Mr. President, of both DOJ & FBI, then work your way down. Sooner or later, you'll have a real patriot in charge of things.
This ain't rocket science, sir. If I may borrow a phrase of your own, Mr. President, what do you have to lose?
This “no discernible pattern” thing sounds awfully weasel wordy.
I just have this funny feeling that any sentient being would be able to discern a pattern in the messages, especially the political ones.
And it does not seem unreasonable to suspect that this would be even more true of the ones that were unrecovered.
I have heard that too, that these two lovebirds were all, just two potential assassins working together, and probably with others.
What I meant to say was that the lovebirds were not in love but though I proofed what I wrote, I must have accidentally erased a couple of words in the process.
