As a society and culture, we have and are continuing to move from a goal-oriented achievement ideal to a victimhood-is-strength mantra. When our country was suffering and recovering from the Great Depression and then fighting in WW2, strength, perseverance and integrity was emphasized and glorified in our culture. What would “It’s A Wonderful Life” be without these motivations?

Now, we have the LEFT assembling coalitions of victims and their willing tools in pop-culture and Hollywood emphasizing how good it is to be a victim. Conversely the same groups seek the inevitable feet-of-clay in all who achieve,
but concentrate on those of the opposing viewpoints so as to further their goals.

How this experiment will end up is up to us but continuing down this path will, in my opinion, be nothing but misery!

Democrats know that their base is not able to digest more than a bumper sticker or two. Thus pretty names for tyrannic campaigns.
Republicans still think they have to justify everything with long explanations. We are no longer in an arena of ideas and discourse. It’s much easier to demagogue and destroy if they will just understand it’s winning that counts. Look at how fast the democrats devolve into homophobic, racist, and gender based slurs when the facts get in the way.

I have seen “The Future is Female” signs in store windows, as saleable products, etc...I no longer frequent those stores, and I write and tell the owners. (I’m mostly in small stores, these days.) I consider the slogan the heighth of stupidity. And, I’m female.

These "Future is Female" nitwits couldn't even bring themselves to deal with a black Muslim Congressman from Minnesota who had a habit of physically abusing his girlfriend.

Movements like this aren't long for the world -- because they invariably end up collapsing under the weight of all these competing professional victims.

The whole concept is childish. The human race needs both male and female to survive. along with that, the secondary characteristics of each gender are also necessary to flourish as a species. Amen.

ps: I did not bother to read the article, but the title irritated me on a Sunday morning.

If the future was female, then men wouldn’t be winning female sporting events and beauty contests. Furthermore, there would be no need for endless programs and cultural changes to science and engineering from solo pursuits as mad scientists alone in their lab until 4am each night to the solo garage tinkerers who built competing empires in the world of computing, changed to ridiculous group efforts with science defined by committee rather than experimentation to encourage women to do science, math and STEM.

Not saying there are not great and brilliant female scientists and engineers, but those are the ones who naturally gravitate to those kinds of pursuits and do not need special groups, clubs, programs and artificial recognition for accomplishing the most mundane tasks for it.
