Hillary Clinton surprised an 8-year-old girl with a letter earlier this month after the elementary school student lost an election for class president to a boy by a single vote.
Martha Kennedy Morales, a third-grader at a private Quaker school in College Park, Md., decided to run for the top office as part of a lesson on government in which elections for class president and Congress were held, the Washington Post reported. Morales told the paper she lost to a “popular” fourth-grade boy and was affirmed as vice president.
“As I know too well, it’s not easy when you stand up and put yourself in contention for a role that’s only been sought by boys,” Clinton wrote in a consoling letter obtained by the Post.

Did she advise her to do it the old fashioned way like she did and marry a succesful man, then ride his coattails?

For the record, girls have been running for class President and other student council positions for many decades. When Hillary was at Maine South High School in Park Ridge, Illinois, she was one of four girls on the student council. There were five boys. That was 1964.
Is the girl going to write a book and travel the world blaming everyone else for her loss?
The girl needs to spend months wandering the woods. Apparently, that’s the XX way to deal with reality.
Perhaps the biggest sore loser in our histoir.
I’m so confused about these things. It shouldn’t be about gender but it is all about gender.
What do third graders need a class president for?

And part of that lesson is that even if you believe you are the “best candidate”
you can still lose for many reasons including running a horrible campaign, poor personality, and projecting a poor personality among others.

And never reconcile her issues and accept the fact that she a total failure and give up and go on government assistance. Because wallowing in failure is rewarding. Just look at her example Hillary. Besides Hillary and the Democrats love dependents.
8 yr old, lost in a popularity contest? This makes news in the DC Post? Bring in Hillary, she needs more face time. Forget Palin and Ferraro they were VP candidates and lost too. I guess its like, we never had a black President, therefore we must vote one in. We never had a Native American as President either, we never had a Hispanic president, but we may have one in 10 years. In 50 years we may have an Asian. Diversity counts, ability and experience is second place. We are the world’s melting pot, and it doesn’t mater who is President so long as they DO THE JOB they are given the privilege to do. So long as we have and HONEST president, no one cares what gender they are or what race or Religion they came from. Its a mater of USA#1 and keeping this country FREE. (Not intended to signify free stuff.) Our forefathers, the founders of this Nation would have their hands full if they had to deal with the left leaning Media today. I wonder how they would have handled it?
