Sound like you have it down to a science. Slowing down in the passing lane. Might even check your cell phone since your not passing.
Passing is not going a mile or two faster than the other car IMHO. Accelerate and pass, get over. Repeat. I will say that people will ride others bumper the not go any faster when the lead car gets over. Odd dynamics and behavior on the commute can be observed.
My favorite one is people slowing down a half mile before their exit. Why? Cars going 50 on the interstate because they are getting ready to decelerate on the off ramp. Makes each exit a choke point.
People are so self centered these days and completely devoid of common sense and common courtesy. I drive fast. I will get occasional speeding ticket. That’s on me. Why are some self appointed sheriff fife types?
