They got impatient and tried to boil the frog (no pun intended for the French) too fast. It’s good to see that a few Frenchmen have the guts to fight.

Boycotting their companies would be most effective. For central planners who are government employees, boycotting their retirement funds would do it. Don’t just make noise now. Shut them down for good and all in time.

The really fascinating thing about the regressive green tax is that it the oniy "scientific" solution to CO2 reduction. There are a million liberals and leftists including many in France that say that "the rich must pay for climate change" (meaning pay cliimate reparations). But reparation money doesn't lower CO2. Only stopping people from driving lowers CO2.

The only way to stop people from driving is to raise their fuel prices a lot. Remember when Obama said your electricirty rates would necessarily skyrocket? That was the last time he told the truth (Maybe the last time was when he said they bring a knife and we bring a gun). The simple fact is the regressive fuel tax which takes away the average Frenchman's mobility is the only way they can actually reduce CO2.

So now the green socilalists are up against the red socialists. Macron et Fromage is a green socialist. He correctly says that red socialism is killing France's economy. That's quite true even though he added a little red socilaism as sweetener in his offer to the yellow vest socialists. But he might end up losing power to a "far right" socialist like Le Pen.
