ALL whites should leave SA. Take your money. Burn your homes and businesses to the ground. Destroy anything of value. Seed your farms with the most destructive invasive species of plant. Destroy all farm machinery. Get out and never look back. Why stay. It is OVER.

DeBeers better get all its diamonds out now. After all the whites are gone (and I sure hope the U.S. takes in a lot of those educated useful folks), I will sit on the sidelines and laugh as the incredibly stupid Africans sentence themselves to poverty and starvation. They even had a neighbor—Zimbabwe—as an example of what happens when they exile all the whites from the country and confiscate their land, but aver they will do the same short-sighted thing. Which country, currying favor, will send in emergency loads of food? I certainly hope NOT the U.S. For people who did this to themselves, and inflicted hardship on those keeping their country’s economy humming along, I feel little pity.

“Pray for the future victims of beasts like him when the laws that allow them to just take land away from whites kicks in. “

It’s amazing and ironic how history repeats itself. There was a time in this country where this practice was the norm, only the victims were non-white.

Mngxitama?

And during the 1990s they used to make fun of Bosnians because of names with a bunch of consonants without vowels.

In Alan Paton's Cry the Beloved Country, there is a black rabble-rouser in Johannesburg who is skilled at whipping up black crowds, but would always stop just short of something that could get himself arrested. Now there is no longer any reason for such leaders to hold back from saying what they really think.

Paton's book was written in the 1940s shortly before apartheid was officially codified (but when the racial rules were well known).

If you are talking of American Indians, they didn’t “own” the land. The property of land ownership was foreign to them. I believe they felt that wherever they were was theirs to live on.

I believe that is why there was such a clash of culture. The fact that settlers of all colors would come in and say I own this land from here to the edge of that forest over there” was both foreign and alarming to Indians.

I think this is a little different in South Africa. These people may have purchased the land and have a specific deed, or lived on it for generations with legal deeds and fixed boundaries on maps.

I wouldn’t worry about DeBeers and their diamonds. There will be new masters who will be too happy to take over,if they haven’t already.

My wifes mother still resides in SA. She said just today that she knows a family that packed up and left their house to a realtor. Sale seems unlikely I would think. Market will soon be flooded.

My wife recently decided to seek citizenship here. She had no interest previously but sees progress being made in this country with POTUS DJT. Informed that she has a two year wait to begin the final process. She had hoped to get her elderly mother out of SA-that now seems unlikely.

Having lived in SA, S America and US and extensive past travels—she has a pretty good sense of where a nation is headed.

Possibly. Look for an 80% price drop.

No doubt this is the kind of thing the Whites were belittled for fearing when apartheid was still in place. The Libs assured them there was nothing to worry about. If there ever is large scale White genocide in SA (so big, that the MSM can’t ignore it), the Libs will just say the Afrikaners had it coming.

I think DeBeers is already moving on to Botswana and other places.

He’s just saying out loud what most other members of the ANC, including Ramaphosa, say by implication. The difference between this guy and Ramaphosa is like the difference between the #BlackLivesMatter cop killers and Obama - the job of the second is to look respectable while giving a wink and nod to enable the first.

DeBeers is building a synthetic diamond factory in Oregon. They are saying to give customers a less expensive alternative, with the identical quality, to real diamonds, but IMO reading between the lines they are hedging against the government in SA confiscating their mines.

“If you are talking of American Indians, they didn’t “own” the land. The property of land ownership was foreign to them. I believe they felt that wherever they were was theirs to live on.”

So I assume by that reasoning, the ensuing genocide was reasonable and moral and more importantly, legal, and in South Africa it isn’t?

Yeah, but they can't move the locations where the diamonds naturally formed. I wonder if the diamond mines in SA will continue to be mined. I'm sure the subsequent operations will not be as successful, machinery will break down, management will break down, etc.

What would you suggest be done? Should every conquered people be restored their land, their wealth, their greatest state of strength and happiness?

Where to begin? Where to stop?

Perhaps a reduction in the level of selective outrage would suffice.

At a point like that a larger war between races would break out.

Perhaps not.

You and I are both admirers and supporters of Israel---you far more intimately and meaningfully, I am sure.

We are both also aware of anti-Semitic threats and slurs voiced daily in government, in the media, in corporate boardrooms, on 'great' university campuses, in high schools and grade schools too, like as not.

One fire ignites another. One cause may be much more just than another. Seldom does some sort of forbearance "suffice". Weighing in with cries of genocide at the outset doesn't either.
