Democrats are the best advertisement for the ready availability of the AR-15.

I have ‘a friend’ with a Bushmaster AR-10, and it’ll shoot 7.62 or 308.
If shooting prone/bipod, it’s a tack driver at 150 yds. Hits a deer-sized target at 500.

That’s an AR-10. I have one w/ Leupold CQB Scope.
Alexander Arms’ Beowulf .50cal comes on the same platform, and I also have one of those w/ Zeiss Glass.

And a host of other calibers (.50 Beowulf comes to mind) that makes it a modular HUNTING rifle.

You do know that ARs can be configured in 7.62.300BLK is 7.62. There are 7.62x39 barrels as well. 300BLK shares the same bolt and magazine as 5.56. The 7.62x39 needs a different bolt and magazines. I favor the 6.5 Grendel in an AR. Different barrel, bolt, mags. Great round.
