An emotional Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's former lawyer and fixer, was sentenced Wednesday to 3 years after pleading guilty to nine federal charges stemming from his failure to report millions of dollars in income making secret payments to women who claimed they had affairs with Trump.
One of the charges Cohen pleaded guilty to included a separate charge, stemming from Robert Mueller's probe into Tump's potential collusion with Russia, that he lied to Congress about his dealings with a proposed Trump Tower in Moscow.

What am I missing here? How can you plead guilty to something that is not a crime? If everyone forgets, when Trump was campaigning he was using his own money and Cohen when he paid the slut certainly didn’t have any access to campaign funds. He paid from his own pocket after which Trump reimbursed him. Meanwhile Hillary launders $82 million in campaign money through the Clinton foundation - nothing happens, Obama violates campaign laws by $2 millionpays a fine no jail. This is really really bad stuff, this is 3rd world crap that’s going on here, a banana republic and Republicans sit back and allow it to happen while they have both houses and the WH
Oh yeah. I worked in uniform for NY State. When I first started, a co-worker told me that if the State wants to get you, they'll do whatever is necessary to do it. They'll even go after other people, in order to get to you. As the years went by, I saw it happen first-hand. It was true 38 years ago, and it's still true today. And Mueller's investigation is a perfect example of it.
I don’t get how he can plead guilty to something that is not a crime. It’s like pleading guilty to ripping a tag off a mattress. This is really really bad stuff because if they can get away with this crap, it means we’re a hairs breath away from a totalitarian state where they can charge anybody with anything.
So Mueller will be working on his “Russki collusion” scam longer than Cohen will be in jail. What a bunch of bullsh*t.
But if Cohen plead re the payments as campaign finance crimes, it sure sets the table for going after Trump. This is just so very wrong. Lord, the humongous tax evasions were Cohen’s Achilles heel, but all anyone is talking about at the sentencing is his regret for ever having associated with Trump. I knew he was going to be big trouble the day they raided his papers.
I think Cohen’s main crime was tax evasion. When he was caught with that, he tried to get less punishment by trying to implicate Trump who is Mueller’s main target.
Why isn’t the wicked witch of the kkklinton clan FREAKIN NOT IN JAIL YET?!!!!!
Cohen pleading guilty to the part that is a non-crime is all political Kubuki theater.
Its all a song and dance by the deep dark state trying to separate Trump from his base. Watch the CNN pos come up with low approval ratings for Trump... which they will be making up. They are going to keep poking the bear until it wakes up and they will wonder where did all anger and resistance from so many come from.
Cohen is a complete jackass:

He couldn’t produce what Monster Mueller wanted so I’ll bet Mueller threatened him with 20 years unless he pled guilty - meaning LIE - about campaign finance violation. This shoould outrage everybody, pleading guilty something that is not a crime just to make the POTUS look guilty by association. The Republican party can bite me, they do NOTHING and they have both houses and the White house and Democrats for the past 2 years have been steamrolling all over them like they own the place.
Couple things.
If Cohen screwed up in his payments to Stormy then it’s his fault, Trump is not at fault, the attorney is.
Secondly, I read somewhere, not sure if true, that Cohen paid off Daniels, then billed Trump excessively for the transaction. IOWs Cohen made out like a bandit on the deal. He pays the girls off, then triple charges Trump for the work done.
And raising money by saying he had influence with Trump, without first Registing as a lobbyist.
The Southern District of NY fried his ass for tax evasion. Nothing else.
Nope. If it was about taxes he would be doing a much longer stretch than 3 years in Club Fed. He’s doing 3 years for daring to support POTUS.
The account I read on Drudge had the little prick place all the blame on being loyal to Trump and doing all kinds of dirty deeds for Trump.
What he was actually sentenced for were for dirthy deeds he did that were done in pursuit of his own agenda and nothing to do with Trump.
But the sorrow he expressed over being loyal to Trump will be all the MSM highlights.

Cohen won’t have to report to jail until March 6, and could still get a further discount to his time if he cooperates.
An anguished Cohen pleaded with a Judge William Pauley to be able to stay out of jail, and expressed regret for trying to cover up former employer Donald Trump’s ‘dirty deeds.’
So he pays stormy $130K to shut here up, and they are calling that a campaign donation.
Trup pays him back and they are calling that ‘unreprted income’
Is that the gist of it?
If he was Trumps lawyer WITH “POWER OF ATTORNEY” (get it?) to act, then he was authorized to spend Trump’s money on his behalf

Quite right. I know when I sold a house, the payment for the house was from the buyer’s attorney’s office. I never for a minute thought the attorney was footing the bill for the house!!!
The attorney was simply a conduit for the money. You know, just like when Hillary passed payments thru Perkins Coie for paying for the fake dossier.
So he didn’t get 130,000 years ,LOL
