I'm not familiar with the Fenton translation, but it isn't a literal one here.

The Greek verb in Matt. 6.13 is an imperative form (in the negative: "do not lead us")--"for You would not lead" is not an imperative.

Fenton was an expert in Greek grammar and the Greek language (and Hebrew) after a lifetime of study.
