Fox News host Jesse Watters took aim at his co-host Juan Williams during Tuesday's episode of "The Five," mocking Williams on-air and joking that his fellow co-host sounded as if he was on drugs.
During a contentious debate between the two personalities over President Trump's planned wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, Williams, who is an opinion columnist for The Hill, asserted that such a barrier would do little to stop drug trafficking, a top concern of the Trump administration, asserting that most trafficking occurs at legal ports of entry.
"The bigger one is, the drugs that you often cite," Williams said, addressing Watters. "Again, he says drugs are coming through that southern border and most people say 'no, most drugs come through legal ports of entry.'"
"Well you would know, Juan, because you sound like you're high right now," Watters said, to laughter from other members of "The Five."
Fox News did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Watters' remarks.
That’s right. He’s a no count low life.
Juan’s okay
He gets paid to be the token liberal on fox news. He does a good job of it. He’s not hateful and generally not nasty. He’s well humored and well spoken. The points he makes i almost always disagree with. And I’ve never heard him make a point that has a valid premise.
But like i said, that’s his job. I’m pretty sure they encourage him to do it.
According to some we can do little to fix the invasion.
How did we ever do anything in this nation?
Juan has to get high to get the courage to say the things he must know are so wrong with his politics and beliefs.
Getting high is the only way he can keep his job at FOX, because, if he ever gets sober and starts talking like the other co-hosts/commentators on FOX, he won’t have a job anymore. As flawed as he is, he is being used to represent the liberal side of the issues on FOX.
Juan Williams is to Fox News as George Will is to The Bezos Blog, a sort of amiable, socially acceptable, easily shot down dunce.
#3. Yes, Juan was high on stupidity!
The man doesn’t do his homework. He ought to look at the port of Vancouver, BC, Canada, for heroin (since the 50’s), fentynal, opium (since the 50’s), and meth ingredients, etc.
Juan is the poster child for the United Negro Collage Fund, on what a wasted mind looks like.
If you remember when Bob Beckel was on the Five before the first firing, he was occasionally on pain-killers and would be slightly doped up for these arguments.
Juan is not high, just out of touch with reality.
As a veteran and historian of the civil rights movement, Juan Wiliams comes by his liberalism through personal experience. The reason he is a regular on Fox is that Roger Ailes immediately signed him to a contract when his longtime employer, NPR, dropped his show because he had become too conservative for their audience.
Williams is a parrot for the democrat party.
NO original thoughts, just blah blah what the party says.
Hell, even Bob Beckel blew the doors off Juan when it came to smarts.
HA!
I meant to format the response: No, thanks for cluing me in. 8>) What a difference a comma can make.
