Stormy Daniels has been ordered to pay almost $300,000 to President Trump for filing a dismissed defamation suit against him.
U.S. District Judge S. James Otero ordered the porn star, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, to pay $293,000 to cover the president’s attorneys’ fees plus $1,000 in sanctions for filing the case at all.
“The court’s order, along with the court’s prior order dismissing Stormy Daniels’ defamation case against the President, together constitute a total victory for the President, and a total defeat for Stormy Daniels in this case,” Trump attorney Charles Harder said Tuesday, according to CNBC.

If it was a frivolous lawsuit, why did Trumps lawyers run up $300,000 in billable time trying to defend it?
While it pleases me to see the bimbo getting tagged with such a huge bill, she will never pay a nickel of it. A bill for $25,000 would have been more realistic if the case had no merit and it would probably have been more painful since it would be small enough to be paid.
Ultimately Trump will have to pay the $300,000 and whatever they can recover from Daniels will be returned to him. That will be nothing.
Here the lawyers win and everyone else looses. What else is new?
Good point. The way this situation has unfolded, she would have been far better off, to have kept the money and kept her damn mouth shut about Trump.
If he ever sees the money he should donate to some group that helps young women escape the porn industry.
