"If the Democrats do not give us the votes to secure our Country, the Military will build the remaining sections of the Wall. They know how important it is!"

Republicans leading the House and Senate support Trump’s aggressive push for funding. But they need Democrats to support the proposal in the Senate to pass the 60-vote threshold, complicating any funding negotiations.

Would it be legal to get the military involved?

Of course it would . Out military built the DMZ wall on the 38th parallel in Korea. That is just ONE example.

A military can always build fortifications which could be the wall or its equivalent. President is the CIC and he can and is constitutionally obligated to defend the nation against external threats. The migrant invasion is just that, an invasion and it has and will be continued to be so defined to justify a military response. That response includes defensive fortifications such as wall.

Congress can’t tell the president that he can’t authorize the army to use tanks or dig fox-holes in a military action; same thing with defensive structures.

Congress will squawk but what are they going to do? Impeach him? The House is already to do that for ponry Daniels. A looney judge interfering with a military order? Perhaps, but that judge could face sedition (Trump would let him know privately)

The Army can rearrange their budget, so can the Navy, and build the wall. Easy peasy.

The combined budget of the Army and Navy is over $500/year. They will have way more money than they need.

Next time Democrats say they will filibuster make them do it. Stand and talk and then when they run out of gas...vote.

“....impeachment is impossible ....”

Look people really need to refresh themselves on the Constitution Impeachment is not removal from office!!

Slick was impeached (You only need a simple House majority!) but had the Senate trial but didn’t get the necessary 2/3’rds majority for removal. I suspect a similar thing will happen to Trump. The Rats absolutely need a impeached GOP’er to exonerate at least in their minds Slick. That way they can say, “See it is all politics anyway! Slick didn’t do anything worse then Trump! You guys are all hypocrites!”. If you have to go into the details to explain & justify why there’s no comparison between the Slick & Trump case you’ve already lost the argument. We live in a world where most people have the attention span of a gnat and the intellectual depth of an oil slick. I am convinced trump will be impeached since a simple majority is all that’s need just like what was needed to make Pelosi Speaker. Half the Rat base wild demand it! We will go through the wasteful mockery of a Senate trial. Also Hellary supporters will demand this because they think by drawing the equivalency between Trump & Slick it will somehow make Hellary more electorally acceptable to the voting public. Yes they are that delusional!

It will be two years where at best we will have stalemated government.

Could we close military bases in Blue states and reopen them as fortresses along the border?
