Yes, it’ll be great not having to wear layers and layers to the party this year and have to peel some off once I get there. I will have to have the umbrella handy, though, because it’s going to rain. I can deal with that.
We have it at the country club and they decorate the banquet room beautifully each year. It’s a popular place for groups to have their parties.
The only “business” that will be taken care of is installing the new officers for the next two years. Then it’s chow time and after that, the fun. We go the Dirty Santa route for the gifts and that’s always a hoot.
You KNOW your kittehs will LOVE 64 degrees! Play time!

Sounds like it will be a lovely party! What kind of food will be offered? Snacks or a full meal. Does hubby go with you?
I had the cursor sitting on the “pause” button with finger ready to click. LOL! I almost stopped it right away when I saw it was a “high-up-there” video. OMG!
But hey, these were Navy SEALs and it would have felt disrespectful to not watch the whole thing, so I overcame my fear of heights and went all the way down with them.
And was dizzy for several minutes afterwards. :-)
I’d better go for tonight. The early wake-up is hitting me hard now. My eyes want to slam shut.

Of course they do! Sunshine was made especially for kittehs to soak up. LOL
It WILL be a lovely party. And a lot of fun. It’s a group of really cool ladies and we have a great time together.
They set up a buffet with two meats and several veggies and yummy deserts. Hubby would love it but this is a girls-only party so he stays home. :-)

Have a doctor's appointment later today. Everything looked good on the blood test. We'll see how the day goes.
I figured it was pretty nippy over there but didn’t know if it was too cold to get out. Glad it wasn’t. Gizmo seems to really enjoy giving you a run for the money. LOL

Considering all the things that did fall, or could have fallen, I was VERY lucky not to have more things broken. I did find another of my Mom’s dishes broken after having fallen off the wall. That’s 2 dishes off the same wall (4 stayed on the wall) that somehow didn’t break the glass table top they fell on.

I’m thrilled there wasn’t any structural damage to your house. I was worried about that as soon as I heard about the quake.
