President Trump, Pences chief of staff unable to agree on time frame for job

Voted for him in 2016 and will vote for him again in 2020.
Loyalty still goes both ways.
Furthermore, Trump demands loyalty at all costs, but loyalty is a two way street.
Absolutely. How about we start with Mittens Romney and “I voted for my wife” after millions of Trump supporters voted for him in 2012? How do you like them apples?
It’s becoming obvious all these GOPe careerist types view POTUS as a short timer and have little interest in investing in the MAGA agenda. Frankly, if Ayers is giving 3 months notice after he was offered a plum assignment I would help him pack his bags now. He’s pretty much flipping the bird at the President.
When is the last time anybody has seen Pence really aggressively, or go out on a limb to defend Trump?
Pence is to Trump, as Bush was to Reagan.
Yep. So many parallels to the Reagan/Bush era. And 2020 is shaping up to be a replay of 1992, IMO.
Romney is a puke who is going to be a problem.
Mitt Romney is a Republican and soon to be sitting United States Senator. Like you said “loyalty is a two way street.” Cheers.
I agree. I did not add that I would have just asked Pence to ask Ayers how soon he could clean out his desk. Point is, if I were POTUS, Ayers does not work for me but Pence does.
I wonder out loud if Trump really knows how to delegate? He has been so long running his show and being accountable for it al it seems that he tries to do too much on his own maybe?
It is almost impossible to delegate and have to also enforce your delegation very often. You will be in deep trouble very soon if you don’t make some examples out of failures to comply and become successful in turning the ship of insubordination around. Problem is, with Trump, most of his subordinates seem to be passively resisting him. They ignore him or slow walk his orders hoping he will forget and go on to something else.
Mattis and Admiral Zunkuft’s resistance and comments on trannies in the military come to mind in the resistance to orders. Zunkuft was downright insolent and insubordinate and if he had been working for me I’d have had Mattis cashier him so fast ti would have made his head spin round three times. I see Zunkuft is gone now after a regular 4 year rotation. I would hope Mattis would understand he would be next if he didn’t get his officers in line. Neat thing about the military is that there is always a succession plan ready and waiting since they plan on people needing to be replaced unexpectedly. Another good thing about cashiering high ups is it hurts their pride and ego. You’d like for a carrot to work in getting people to do things but the stick works much better in a pinch and for people who have what they want. A club works even better. Leaving for cause really hurts their egos and post career opportunities.
You can’t discipline everyone. Major changes in organizations that are comfortable with the status quo are nearly impossible without wholesale house cleaning.
These GOPe careerists are making a huge mistake in thinking Trump is a one off. They think they can wait him out and go back to business as usual. Not going to happen.
Post Trump if we get a America Last GOPe POTUS nominee millions of conservatives will just say to the Romneyites: “see you in four years I am voting for my wife.” The long term damage done to the GOP by the progressive statist Never Trump wing of the party is the elephant in the room that nobody wants to deal with.

“Why would anyone want to go to work for an individual who cant seem to keep people working for him?”
The important part of that remark is “working for him”
They work for HIM. He’s the BOSS. HE is in charge.
Your perspective is backwards.
Yeah? And when HE fires them, then HE is responsible.
I think my perspective is just fine.
