(KATOWICE, Poland) - Thousands of people from around the world marched Saturday through the southern Polish city that’s hosting this year’s U.N. climate talks, demanding that their governments take tougher action to curb global warming.

Protesters included farmers from Latin America, environmentalists from Asia, students from the United States and families from Europe, many of whom said climate change is already affecting their lives.

“Climate change is the thing that frightens me the most,” said Michal Dabrwoski from Warsaw, who brought his young daughter to the march. “I’m a father and it’s kind of crucial that she will have a decent life.”

"Protesters included farmers from Latin America,
where the farmers burn the rain forest up EVERY YEAR

environmentalists from Asia,
and cities like Beijing, where it's hard to breathe from the pollution, which they don't care about

students from the United States
who have been brainwashed to believe this crap

and families from Europe..." except from France...

Farmers from Latin America were flown to Poland for a protest?
Davos and the World Bank again pretending to support the little people.

Only occasionally do I LOL when I read stuff here at FR. But this is HILARIOUS. Protests/riots in one country to do something about AGW; protests/riots when they try and do something about it.

I think they all voted for the Unicorn solution but nobody told them about Unicorns.

***Extreme cold is a symptom of global warming.***

Strange. Forty one years ago extreme cold was used to “prove” we were entering a new ICE AGE!

People are marching for action on climate change? I have a hunch as to which people they are. Maybe they need to look at it realistically. The U.S. has apparently accomplished something in that area & are the ones who bowed out of the stupid Paris agreements. Everyone every where still needs to get over the stupid idea that CO2 is a pollutant, tho. Should have learned back in school that it is a necessary element in the atmosphere & NOT a pollutant. Those countries bowing to the Paris agreement need to exhibit their progress every year or grow a brain & give up on the idea.

I believe the theory is that if we give sufficient money and power to governments, everyone will always have perfect weather.

Indeed, global warming did disappear. That why they changed the theme to climate change. They are the not so secret code words used by the left to mean global warming. Seems it quit warming so they needed something else.

That may look like “thousands” to people in the psychomedia but I count only 13 people. Maybe the camera idiot shouldn’t have zoomed in.

I’m curious if anyone has seen some data on the effect the Jerry Brown Memorial Fire had on the the (supposedly dangerous) CO2 levels in our atmosphere.

As I understand it, trees absorb the gas from the atmosphere to grow. When you burn them up, they give it all back.

And to add to that the fire has reduced the acreage of CO2 absorbing trees.

Michal Dabrwoski from Warsaw should spend a little time practicing common sense, instead of carrying on about a false premise. Climate change is progressive over a period of 100 to 1,000 years.

The hysteria over imminent global warming is nonsense. Please calm down Michal Dabrowski.

We may be at the beginning of global cooling. The Sun is the dominant factor in climate change. The science of climate change is far from settled.

even the most rabid gloBULL “warming” insider website only claimed “hundreds” and the pics I’ve seen on Twitter threads by activists at COP24 never show more than a hundred. AP’s Frank Jordans is telling fibs and WaPo ran with his story, as well as others in the FakeNewsMSM. no surprise:

ClimateHome: A few hundred people marched through Katowice to show their support for climate action on Saturday
