Former FBI Director James Comey is sitting with the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees behind closed doors on Friday to answer (or not answer) their questions. Congress is investigating how FBI and DOJ handled the Hillary Clinton and Russia probes and, as you can imagine, Comey was one of the top witnesses on their list.
It doesn't seem to be going as planned. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) appeared to be most frustrated, explaining to the press that Comey came with two attorneys, one of whom has instructed his client to answer very few questions.

Clomey, Clapper, and Brennan are protecting their turf, a corrupt FBI that has been going on for some time now...These three men are the modern day Mafia of the FBI...President Trump should use whatever muscle he has to quash this outrageous trio...Comey just dares anyone to come after him.......sic 'em POTUS!

“Comey came with two attorneys, one of whom has instructed his client to answer very few questions.”
Isn’t that the same as pleading the fifth? Of course Lois Lerner did the same thing, after declaring she did nothing wrong, and the castrated Republicans did nothing.

can all be challenged in court and would have been better if they had started sooner.

Another couple weeks and the democrats will take over the House and they’ll all be home free. They know it.

And what did you expect? The boss (DJT) to order his people to cooperate with the investigation, or fire the ones that refuse?

These guys aren’t close to getting ahead of a slick liar and dirty cop like Comey.

McCabe was referred for prosecution. Convene a grand jury in the investigation of McCabe and subpoena his former boss, who happens to be Comey.
No attorneys allowed. Comey is a good wordsmith but he's honestly not nearly as smart as he wants everyone to believe.

So? Move the hearing tonthe Senate, and get DOJ to throw Comeys sorry arse in the slammer for contempt if he refuses to comply.

All Kabuki.
If they were serious, they would have brought Comey months ago.
And brought him back again and again.
11th hour Kabuki from Gowdy and Goodlette.

Comey is dealing with a weak Congress. They won’t give him much of a fight. Trump might send out a few tweets. Comey can lawyer up and pretty much do what he wants.
To: BigEdLB
So? Move the hearing to the SenateThe Congress is the wrong forum for these matters.

I think it is going EXACTLY how they were hoping it would go. As usual, they go thru the motions and shake their heads in pseudo-frustration while the Democrats laugh behind their backs and in the face. They could and should have had this hearing BEFORE the election. Had the President NOT listened to the Swamp and just declassified the docs then Comey would not have a leg to stand on. And another thing, since when does a former employee who was fired from the FBI warrant legal advice from lawyers in the FBI. It is past time to clean house from top to bottom at FBI DOJ CIA NSA and DoS. Enough if this rebellion within the Executive Branch. Time to get rid of the back stabbers.

When has a theater production with a bad actor ever made the producers happy? What did they think the stage play was, something of consequence?

Kabuki Theater is all it is. All it has been in the last ten years (or more like 40-50 years, I guess.... when did the UNIparty really come to be? ).

Color me surprised... Not!
The Stupid Party, Gutless Republicans are soft on everything they touch. They should have hired Mark Levin or in your face, Chris Christie.
