“Yeshua was not born on December 25!”

What about his birth being in April, 2 days after Passover?
It’s a long trip from Nazareth; they’d have to go via a caravan for safety and it would be a major undertaking.
They’d probably go to Jerusalem for Passover and then head down to Bethlehem to pay taxes and register for the Census.
The shepherds were in the fields with their flocks which would be in the Spring. In the December timeframe the flocks would have been in their pens heating hay.
Just a thought........
.
Read your Bible!
Yeshua was born on Succot (Tabernacles) that is what the day means.
Passover is when he was crucified.
That makes sense! It’s always fun to think about, but not crucial. :)
.
BTW, Nazareth is a days walk from Jerusalem.
Most likely spring, possibly fall. Shepherds in the fields by night then, too.
I am of the opinion that it would be a good idea to send Christmas cards and sing Christmas carols in March, April, May, August, September, and October.
Interesting that the census was never completed.
