Rep. Nancy Pelosi is digging in amid the fight over funding for President Trump's long-promised border wall, signaling she won’t accept a deal on DACA in exchange for wall money.
Congress on Thursday approved a short-term spending bill to avoid a partial government shutdown, punting the immigration debate and other issues until later in the month.
Speaking to reporters at her weekly press briefing Thursday, Pelosi (D-Calif.), the likely next House Speaker, said that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and the proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexico border are “two different subjects.”
She later said that she and most Democrats consider the wall "immoral, ineffective and expensive," adding that Trump repeatedly promised that Mexico would pay for it.

It looks to me like it’s going to take what you wrote and more to upright the ship. No exaggeration or freakout, just stark reality, recognizing the handwriting on the wall.
How is the nation going to be saved with a Democrat House (no wall), and now, the AG nominee. Why on earth would POTUS pick Global Bushie’s AG? Has he lost his mind?
Nevertheless, POTUS’s patriotic self-sacrifice, his courage and bravery, combined with his exceptional intellect, independent power, wealth, and connections is unparalleled.
I keep reminding myself that just because we want to save our nation doesn’t necessarily mean that is what God has in mind, and only He knows His thoughts and ways.
It is Christmas though. I don’t know why the U S Senate just doesn’t go to 51 votes. Is either party ever going to have 60 seats again? The 60 vote threshold renders nearly everything the U S Senate does useless.

People go on and on about "wait until the next election when we have power", elections will not fix what is broke with America. Only a complete tear down of existing power in DC will fix America but it will not be what it was at its greatest. It will be the sum of that.
