The worst one here hit the night before Christmas Eve in ‘98 and it sounded like a war zone that night - transformers blowing and trees crashing. Boom, boom, boom. The section of town I lived in at the time had no power for five days but some areas went up to three weeks without it. Not a good Christmas that year.

Your poor kitties aren’t going to be happy at all. :-(

I’ll be SURE to have everything dealt with so I don’t have to go anywhere this weekend, you can bank on that! LOL!

Egad! That had to be a nightmare! I can’t imagine the power being off for 5 days, much less 3 weeks!, during the coldest days in winter. Hope you had lots of blankets and quilts! And I hope you don’t have a repeat of that. Your poor trees have been through enough for one year!

Guess I’ll go for tonight. I didn’t sleep well last night. And Peaches was outside! I think deep down I was feeling bad that he was out in the cold. Of course, the other 7 were too, and I tried to tell myself that it wasn’t any different. LOL!

Anyhow...stay warm if you can. Talk tomorrow!
