Fake News: Since the passing of former President George H. W. Bush, the so-called “mainstream media” has come out in praise of the man and his leadership, but it wasn’t always that way.
In fact, in the 1980s and early 1990s, when Presidents Ronald Reagan and Bush were in office, the Leftist mainstream media was vicious, accusatory, and lacking in any praise whatsoever — just like they are today when it comes to POTUS Donald Trump.
The reason? Republican presidents don’t get a pass like Democrat presidents do. And talk radio legend Rush Limbaugh called them out for their “phony” praise of Bush 41 during Fox News segment Monday evening.

The way every radio station has been on 24/7 George Bush praising, I’ve been switching stations or just turning off the radio altogether. Talk about hypocrisy! The media attacked him mercilessly while he was alive and now that he’s gone, I have to hear every little thing about him that I never had any interest in knowing. He was a Bush, he was the patriarch of the sorry sons he sired and their destructive policies to America, and my interest in him is therefore quite limited.
Don’t you know? The only good Republican is a dead Republican.

The praise for W has been nauseating. Not because he is nauseating but because of the praise from the press for his emotional response to his father’s death. They loathed his father, they loathed (and still loathe) is son. I loathe THEM.

The way the Bushes laid down and never fought back shows me they’re all in bed with the democrats. And 41 becoming buds with Bill Clinton and voting for Hillary, and 43 always slipping Michelle a piece of candy. Sickening.

I think he looked at his watch in the debate because the moderator was letting Clinton talk longer than his allotted time.

Had to hold my nose and vote for him over Clinton. Most of my votes for president have been this way. Happy to vote for Trump over any and all his competitors.

Well, no matter what anybody says, he now gets to spend eternity with John McCain.
The Chicago media gushed over him in a way that they usually reserve for the Obamas. Yeah, it’s a bit on the phony side. As for me, I voted for him one way or another four times. He was better than the Democrat alternatives. I don’t believe it was clear to me then where some of his policies would take us. I managed to avoid most of the post-mortum events until this morning, when I caught most of the funeral service on the radio while driving around. I have to admit that I got into this event of our civil religion, just as I have with other presidential funerals. I have buried my own parents, so I was able to relate to his survivors on that basis. But I did that without any of the media hoo hah.
