It's absolutely ludicrous to criminalize the possession of one of God's own creations—in this case a certain type of mushroom.

People trying to feel wanted....anxious....fearful of life and expected death...wanting to belong...and seek a connection to a higher gentle power...and to answer the eternal how and whys....in the end...the compound alters the natural function of brain chemistry leading to enhancements and dimunition of brain perceptions and senses...but it is short lived and does NOT change external reality..nor is the experience always pleasant...It is the tide pod for complex adults. Oregonians you are poorly advised if it is widely used. Get ready for more chemically induced mishaps....like we dont have enough.

I’ve had my day of experimenting and dabbling during my misspent youth, and will say that all these psychoactive substances being legalized is going to bring the crazy out of the woodwork, as if Portland isn’t already nutty enough. Some people just cannot handle it, and those who have preexisting psychological issues, latent psychosis, etcetera, should not even be partaking in marijuana, let alone psilocybin mushrooms. The barely repressed crazy is going to really cut loose when they do, and they may not ever get it bottled up again.
