Conservative journalist pioneer and entrepreneur Michelle Malkin announced Monday that she would leave CRTV after the group merged with Glenn Beck’s The Blaze enterprise.
“I am so proud of the investigative journalism I did for CRTV,” she wrote on Twitter. “So many heroes, so many compelling stories. I will not be continuing with the company, but wish my colleagues all the best.”
Beck, the founder of The Blaze, and Mark Levin, the founder of CRTV, announced their decision on Monday to merge the two companies into “Blaze Media.” Malkin was featured in the video released to promote the merger.

Gave up on Beck years ago and gave up on Levin after CRTV attempted to destroy Mark Steyn. I prefer what Bill Whittle is doing and really enjoy his Right Angle posts on FB.
My guess is Andrew Wilkow will be next to leave. He has no love for Beck.
I still can't decide if Beck is a nutjob or just an entertainer who flies by the seat of his pants to give his audience a show. Either way he isn't a serious political commentator like Michelle Malkin is. I can see why she wouldn't want to throw in with him. It would diminish her ranking. I guess this means Levin is made from the same cloth Beck is.
Michelle is WAY cuter than Occasional Cortex.
I happened to catch last few minutes of Beck's last show, Summer of 2016, at least on the local station, when he let that guest/caller go on about taking out Trump.
I had no idea it was to mock Trump, but I only saw clips/photos of the aftermath, and figured “That’s just old Glenn...”

Whatever credibility CRTV may have had is now lost to all but the RINO Kool-aid crowd..

That ship sailed long before the leftist kids took over control of the network. Once Faux Management backed Geraldo in his vile, idiotic attacks on Michelle, she would be foolish to get back in bed with them since they have moved further left since then.
Why do people keep asking what was Levin thinking? Levin founded LevinTV which grew into CRTV. Levin is not a part of CRTV management. He just has a show there and will for a few more years at least.
I’m going on record: this merger will be a disaster. I know many FReepers do not like him but I feel this is a be a bad mistake by Mark Levin.
I could care less about Beck. Wish my local talk radio station (WGAC, Augusta, GA) would replace him with something decent.
OK, he may not be the CEO... I don't care to investigate any further as to the ownership, but as Founder and Editor-in-Chief I'd think that one would have to consider him "Management". But if he was completely powerless in deciding to partner with Beck, then he has my apologies for thinking he was foolish to do so.

Mark Levin is/was a Freeper. I met hin in the bar of the Capital Hill Holiday Inn at a Free Republic gathering. He has the credentials.
I can not speak to the wisdom of the merger on the basis of surface reports. I suspect there might be more than meets the eye.
For instance, we do not know who else is involved from the production end or especially the money end.
What if there is really a lot of money involved and they bought Fox News? To be successful there must be savvy TV types and savvy money types. I would believe that there are very competent silent pardners/advisors actually running the show

Michelle did tread into #NeverTrumper territory for a while, which kind of surprised me. Now, I’d guess that she is more of a Trump Agnostic; Not a fan, but also not quite a NeverTrumper anymore.
