I remember when they used blue for Republicans and red for Democrats on election night maps. The change always bothered me since it was clearly an effort by the MSM to distance the Democrats from any insinuation that they had Marxist leanings.

You probably also recall that when some/many commented on the specific change the MSM responded sweetly that they had a habit of changing colors every so often and this change would not last very long.

How many cycles ago was that, and when can we expect such a change? (/rhetorical question with a snort)

With two terms of Obama together with "Cute little Marxist" Clinton's recent popular vote it appears an appropriate time to reverse the colors; and it now seems likely the left would applaud.
