The newspaper said an immigration enforcement agent was in the courtroom to detain Medina-Perez, but the Dominican Republic native was let out through a back door. I remember that episode.
Nice to see the Feds doing something about it, we couldn't count on it being done at the State level. - Tom

Any US official helping illegal aliens evade US laws should be removed from office and prosecuted.
This stuff would stop.

Amen to that!
There was an incident similar to that in Portland, OR some months back and I don’t think a thing happened to the judge.

I think you may be confusing it to a similar incident in Portland Oregon. In that instance the judicial qualifications commission ruled that the judge did nothing wrong.

The judge involved should be: Newton, Massachusetts, District Court Judge Shelley M. Joseph.

It was last year. You are correct. Nothing happened to the judge. It’s a Portland thing

The newspaper said an immigration enforcement agent was in the courtroom to detain Medina-Perez, but the Dominican Republic native was let out through a back door. I'm no lawyer, but that sounds like being an accessory after the fact.
